Daniel Libeskind

In our first installment of the "Percipience" series, we take a view into the private residence of Polish born architect Daniel Libeskind thanks to the fantastic work by the folks at NOWNESS. As we journey into this private residence located in TriBeCa, we find ourselves surrounded by a discrete space in which Libeskind chose to utilize modernistic furniture from the likes of Mies van der Rohe and Le Corbusier taking a softer approach to design contrary to his typical jagged edges and sharp angles design approach in his architectural projects. Libeskind is the Master Plan architect for the redevelopment of the World Trade Center site in Lower Manhattan. He is also well regarded for his beautiful design of the Jewish Museum in Berlin and the Imperial War Museum North in Manchester.
